Black & White Copying & Digital Printing
As a company we have always had a very strong presence in photocopying. In 1992 we introduced copying at 2 pence per copy and are now able to extend the offer of all A4 Black & White copies at 2p per copy. (Minimum order value £5.00, printed on white A4 80gsm paper, subject to VAT where applicable.) Our Canon digital printer is networked which enables us to print from a customers PDF. It is equipped with an online booklet maker, very useful for price lists and programmes.
Our standard printing file format is PDF (Portable Document Format), which offers high quality prints with full compatibility. If you would like us to produce a booklet for you we would be pleased to discuss the best way to save the document.
A few helpful pointers when saving files for digital output are, firstly please leave a 8mm margin clear of print all round leaflets & pages of booklets. If necessary we may have to reduce artwork supplied to facilitate this requirement.
When saving PDF files please ensure that any images are at least 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) to avoid poor print quality, low DPI will result in blurred and poor quality images on the finished print. Please bear in mind that images from the Internet are usually 72 DPI. It is often a good idea to save text/monochrome at 1200 dpi to ensure the very best output from your file, to ensure text is definitely reproduced as in your document it is suggested that under the objects heading in the publish to PDF settings, export all text as curves is ticked. Where possible we appreciate a hard copy or fax to help us ensure we produce your document to your exact specifications.
